cant remove a program from my computer....

I downloaded this program called HDX4 Video Editor. When I try to remove the program using "Remove Software", it just hangs up the computer. It really slows down bootup, too. Could someone take a look at this?

Have you tried removing it through control panel? If you were able to remove it that way, but it still leaves some files behind.. .then you can download ccleaner. It's free to use and does a great job and removing unwanted files, or files that were left behind by programs.

I like that CCleaner program. I tried it out and it may be able to help with this problem.

If CCleaner alone does not remove the software, you can try searching for the program.

Click Start, then Search

enter in HDX4 and see if it comes up in the search.

If it does come up in the search tell me what directory it is found in. This information could be important.

If it doesn't come up in the search then the filename is different than the program's title. You'll have to download software that can tell you where running processes are located.

By the way (and this is important) does HD4X Video Editor show up in your process list when you hit CTRL ALT DEL and click the "processes" tab?
